📢 At my core, I’m a community advocate. What motivates me is the drive to strengthen my community — to meet people where they’re at and empower them with the knowledge and resources to thrive.

🫶 I’m a mom, proud Chicana, and progressive feminist who believes: that families belong together; there is a genocide in Gaza; it’s my body, my choice; diversity, equity, inclusion is a good thing; gender-affirming care saves lives.

☀️ I spent the last 5 years building up the brand at L.A. Care Health Plan, the nation’s largest publicly funded health plan, where I:

🚀 Launched new digital communications for L.A. Care and Blue Shield Promise’s Community Resource Centers, developing scalable playbooks, training staff, and overseeing content for centers across L.A. County.

🌱 Delivered year-over-year growth in impressions, foot traffic, and program participation, helping provide free wellness resources to tens of thousands of Angelenos.

📈 Drove 38M+ impressions via organic, person-centered content, boosting organizational visibility and and increasing engagement by 48,000%.

⚡ Generated a 2,000% follower growth on Instagram and 40K follower increase across platforms, driving digital engagement and real-world participation.

🗓️ Led communications strategy for ~100 community wellness events, from mental health pop-ups to large-scale vaccination clinics serving thousands.

👩🏻‍🔧 Developed high-impact Health Equity campaigns and content for collaborations with Medi-Cal, First 5 LA, LA Rams, and dozens of community-based organizations, like the Birthworkers of Color Collective.
